If you're on pay as you go from Orange you can always stay in touch, even when you've run out of credit. With Reserve Tank, we'll give you an extra £2.50 when you run out of credit, to use until you can top-up your phone.
The extra credit is yours to use however you want. You just pay it back the next time you top up your phone.
How it works
To get Reserve Tank set up on your Orange account call 450 to speak to a Customer Services advisor.
If you have Reserve Tank set up and you don't have enough credit to make a call or send a text, you can switch on your Reserve Tank by calling 450, select the top up option and we'll instantly give you £2.50 credit.
The only difference with calls and texts using Reserve Tank is that they cost 5p more per minute or message compared to standard rates. Data is charged at standard rates when using Reserve Tank and calls to your Magic Numbers are charged at Reserve Tank rates.
Once you top up your phone and pay back the £2.50 credit, prices for calls and texts go back to standard rates and your Magic Numbers will be back to normal too. And once you’ve paid it back your Reserve Tank will be ready and waiting for you to switch it on the next time you need it.
Please note: Reserve Tank is not available on the Orange Starter plan or the Raccoon plan. To check which Orange pay as you go plan you’re on or to change your plan call 450 or log into My EE.
Checking your balance
You can check your Reserve Tank balance by:
- calling 453 for free from your Orange phone
- or you can text BALANCE to 450 for free
Cancelling your reserve tank
You can opt out of the Reserve Tank service by calling 450 from your Orange phone or 07973 100 450 from a landline (standard rates apply).
Note: You can't opt out while your Reserve Tank is activated.
