About a new look for Netflix in 2025

This article talks about the changes Netflix is making to its app in June 2025. It will show you how it might change your EE TV experience.

Netflix is introducing a refreshed TV experience designed to make discovering new content easier and more enjoyable.

Here’s what’s changed:

  • Streamlined design. A more intuitive layout helps you focus on the information about each title.
  • Top navigation bar. Quickly access key sections like Home, Search, and Categories with a new top navigation menu.
  • My Netflix tab. Easily find everything you’ve saved, watched, or rated in one convenient place.
  • Improved recommendations. Netflix is rolling out smarter recommendation features in the new look.

Need to know

You can press the Back button on your TV remote for a shortcut to the navigation menu.

Can I revert to the old look?

No, the new interface replaces the old one permanently. Netflix is committed to enhancing the experience. They will keep improving the design and recommendations based on user feedback.

Will my device support the new look?

Most smart TVs, streaming sticks, and set-top boxes will receive the updated experience. However, some older devices may not be compatible. For a full list of supported devices, please visit the Netflix Help Center.

Why do I see the new design on one TV but not another?

This may be due to device compatibility. Some devices may receive the update later or may not support it at all.

Why can I only see a few titles at a time?

The new layout emphasises key details about each title, making it easier to decide what to watch at a glance, even if fewer titles are visible on screen.

Improved Recommendations

These include:

  • Real-time updates: Recommendations adjust as you interact with content, like watching trailers or giving a thumbs up.
  • Personalised rows: For example, adding an anime show to My List may prompt a new anime-related row to appear as you browse.
